I haven't read the whole book, but on the chapters of trends in transportation/distribution (22) and logistics in general (1&2) his referances are quite old (1995-2002), not catching up the newest trends in the sector. The performance indicators showing markets trends should be newer than of 2002, and can not be used if you are a logistics/scm professional.
